Join us for our Fifth Annual Sea Turtle Day on Saturday, March 13, 10 am - 4 pm. Celebrate sea turtles, marine life, and our oceans as well as our terrestrial species and habitats in a fun-filled family day of environmental education. All species and habitats are interconnected; learn what conservation actions you can take in your daily life to help make our world a better, cleaner place to live. Wandering About Nature Today-Stay tuned for final announcement, We are in the final stages of firming up plans for a VERY special guest involved with the Rescue, Protection and subsequent Treatment of the cold stunned Sea Turtles brought into Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca Raton, that were discoved to have tumors originating from fibropappilia family. We will be exploring the wonders of this natural treasure, as well as discuss their progress. Others topics we will cover are tracking and data findings of the paleagic creature, and struggles that are affecting it's survival. It's a Don't Miss show!!
