Nature Safety-Canoe

OK-I really feared for this group. 1) NEVER...NEVER stand up in a Canoe-You WILL get wet at the very least 2) Especially if your PFD is not strapped on-appropriately. 3) You should all be facing the same direction-paddling opposite each other-to avoid capsizing the craft-which looks like it's inevitable. Every time I go out I see things like this and I just cringe. This Grandfather was looking forward to a great day out with his grandchildren. Given their ages and experience level-I hope it turned out that way! Be Smart out there people!!
